Hoof boots are a wonderful way to provide your horse with protection, traction and comfort. We sell these boots because they have a proven track record. We have had a lot of success with the Epics and Bares in endurance competition but now love the streamlined and very light Gloves and Glue Ons. At endurance rides our favourite boot is the Easycare Glue On.
We also use Renegades boots and love how easy they are to put on and remove plus there is nothing wrapped around the pasterns. Renegades are great for hooves that are wider than longer.
Rob is available to measure and fit horses for boots. For Easycare Gloves, Glue Ons and Renegades, Rob has the advantage of the different sized shells and boots to ensure the best fit possible.

Easyboot GloveThis form-fitting, seamless boot hugs the hoof and responds like a natural foot. Flexible and tough, this boot adds traction to the hoof, while allowing a free stride and breakover. This is an excellent boot for long distance riding! Like a glove, this boot provides protection without stifling mobility. The Easyboot Glove material stretches over the hoof and clings to the wall so that debris stays out of the boot even through sandy and muddy conditions. No external hardware means that there is no need to worry about replacing cables. Studs are available for winter riding. Does your horse overreach? These boots have a faster breakover and no hardware to catch on the front heel if you are wearing them on hind feet. This boot must be carefully sized and fitted to the hoof. Easyboot Glue OnThe Easyboot Glue-On shell has been developed as a high performance boot and an option for horses in speed and long distance events. The light weight shell has thin walls that allow the boot to stretch and form to the hoof. The end result is a seamless one-to-one fit that resembles a second skin over the hoof. The Easyboot Glue-On is the closest hoof boot option to the barefoot horse–light weight, no hardware and a seamless fit. In order for this boot to work properly, it must fit snugly, the foot must be dry during application and the glue-on process must be carefully followed. The Easyboot Edge is a sturdy boot with a long-lasting, semi-aggressive tread. The boot opens up wide enough for the foot to slip in easily. Adjustments may be made with the “Easy Key” that comes with the boot, a screwdriver or a penny. Padding on the tongue ensures that the boots are not overtightened. Pro-Comp Glue-OnOriginally developed as a specialised glue-on in 2001 and now patented after a recent design update, the Renegade Pro-Comp Glue-On provides an easily installed alternative to the strap on hoof boot when extra protection is needed for the naturally trimmed barefoot horse. Primarily intended for competition use, they are flexible, durable and long lasting. When properly installed, the Pro-Comp Glue-On will not inadvertently come off even when used for multi day endurance competition. Though not recommended for long term use, they have shown to remain well attached for over five weeks. Balanced Equine Easycare 30 Day Warranty
Balanced Equine offers a 90 day (from date of purchase) repair or replacement guarantee on quality and workmanship for all merchandise manufactured under the EasyCare or Old Macs label. Please keep your original proof of purchase documents during the warranty period. While this guarantee is generally very broad in nature, it does not cover abnormal wear, misuse or abuse. Products returned for evaluation must be washed clean and free of debris, dirt, sand and manure.
Failure to return clean product will result in product (s) being shipped back at senders expense or a $10.00 cleaning fee will be assessed. Damage inflicted by omnivorous horses, rodents or other unusual abuse is not covered. If you have purchased a Horse Boot product, and your boot fails during warranty, it is generally a minor hardware issue. Please bear in mind, that most components of any of our horse boots are either replaceable or repairable. This includes wire laces, cables, buckles, gears, rollers, screws and straps. Many repairs can be easily accomplished with simple household tools.
Depending on the individual circumstances, Balanced Equine will either provide the repair parts for your use, or ask that you return the boots to us for evaluation. We will then repair or replace at our discretion.
Balanced Equine Renegade 90 Day Warranty
Balanced Equine offers to exchange boots for no extra cost if it becomes apparent there is a sizing error in the first 15 days of receiving the boots. This only applies if Balanced Equine physically measured or used boots on your horse to determine sizing.
All warranty repairs are covered by Landers Industries Inc (USA) in the first 90 days. You simply need to return the boots (post paid) to Landers Insdustries Inc (USA) to make the repairs and pay for return shipping. The heel captivator is warrantied for the life of the boot.
